Reliable power, when you need it

Having a petrol-powered generator at home is a smart investment. It gives you peace of mind when you need extra power – whether it’s for renovations, leisure projects or backup electricity. But in order for the generator to start when you need it and last for years to come,
there’s one thing that matters more than you might think: the fuel.

There’s a difference between fuel and fuel

start having problems long before the engine itself is worn out. The culprit is often regular E10 petrol. E10 contains 10% ethanol, and ethanol has the ability to bind moisture during storage – which can result in corrosion, damaged rubber seals and clogged carburettors in the generator. We notice this in two ways: either the engine does not start, or performance decreases.

Longer lifespan with the right fuel.

This is where alkylate petrol comes into play. Aspen alkylate petrol is a cleaner and more stable fuel – completely free of ethanol. This means it lasts longer in the tank and doesn’t attract moisture.

When you fill your generator with Aspen alkylate petrol, you get:
  • An engine that starts more easily
  • Smoother operation without soot build-up
  • Fewer service needs
  • A longer lifespan for your machine

Quieter projects. Cleaner exhaust. Happier neighbours.

Many homeowners look for generators that don’t make too much noise. But it’s easy to forget what comes out of the exhaust pipe. High‑quality fuel affects not only the machine, but also the environment around you. Dirty combustion produces both more smell and more soot. With Aspen alkylate petrol, you get significantly cleaner combustion, something both you and your neighbours will notice.

Do you want to try the difference yourself?

Drip some regular E10 gasoline on a white plate and then burn it off. You will see residue from the petrol. But if you do the same with Aspen alkylate gasoline, it leaves no residue at all.

In other words: when you use the right fuel in your generator, you not only improve performance — you also avoid sooting up your engine and your surroundings.
