Change the oil – not the lawn mower
In a lawn mower, the engine oil does the heavy lifting: it lubricates, cools and protects against wear when the engine speeds rise and temperatures get high.
As oil ages, it loses its lubricating properties and can no longer handle heat and high RPMs as effectively. Eventually, the engine starts to suffer, and the risk of serious damage increases significantly.
Instead of letting your petrol-powered lawn mower go to an early grave, you can give it new life with a simple service job at home in your driveway. It saves you both time and money, as you avoid buying a new mower when it isn’t actually necessary. Changing the oil is easy:
- Warm up the engine slightly.
- Drain the old oil.
- Refill with Aspen Lawn Mower Oil SAE 30 – specially developed for four-stroke lawn mower engines.
- Repeat every spring or at least once a year. Take the opportunity to change the oil at the same time as you refill with high-quality fuel, giving your lawn mower the best possible start to the season.

Aspen Lawn Mower Oil SAE 30 is mineral oil-based and based on paraffinic base oils with a high viscosity index, excellent oxidation stability and high lubricity – perfect when the lawn mower has to work hard all summer.
